Governor Bryant offers message of Mississippians “Rising Together” in Inauguration Day speech
JACKSON – Phil Bryant was sworn in today inside the House Chamber at the State Capitol as the 64th Governor of Mississippi. The ceremony was moved indoors due to inclement weather.
In his Inaugural address he emphasized the message of Mississippians “rising together”.

JACKSON – The possibility of heavy rains in the afternoon will postpone the Inaugural Parade, but the actual Inauguration Ceremony will still proceed as planned.
The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on the South Steps of the Capitol unless the weather deteriorates overnight.
